Weekly Status Report: 2019-01-27

The beginning of this week was focused on moving more of our infrastructure to secure Power9-based hardware that we control. See the “General discussion” section for more information on this exciting news.

Packages

awilfox@ added many packages, including Fortune, libmodplug for MOD music file playback, Postfix, Subversion, and uWSGI. OpenSSH CVE-2018-20685 was patched. The xterm package was corrected to work properly on musl.

aerdan@ added socat, and bumped many packages.

djt@ added nmap.

multiplexd added haveged, for entropy gathering on systems (including ARM SoCs) that need it.

zlg bumped Certbot and many of its dependencies.

We are happy to welcome newcomer aranea, who has added hermit, perl-term-readkey, and fixed the man-db install trigger.

General discussion

The mailing list server has been moved to our dedicated Power9 server on Integricloud. Our master mirror server, mirrormaster, has also been moved to Integricloud. Both systems are running Adélie 1.0-BETA2 and are 100% libre down to the mainboard firmware!

The docs metapackage has been fixed on systems that use adelie-core instead of adelie-base as their anchor package.
